CISCEA delegation visits ACAMS HQ for key project milestone

Oslo, Norway – July 19, 2024 – ACAMS AS is proud to announce the completion of a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the ACAMS I-TWR system, held at the company’s headquarters in Oslo, Norway.

The FAT was graced by the presence of Colonel Dan Marshal Freitas, Vice-President of CISCEA, and his delegation. Representatives from ACAMS’s Brazilian business partner, ATC Systems, also participated in meetings with CISCEA in Norway.

The FAT marks a significant milestone in the delivery of the I-TWR (Integrated Tower) system to Salvador Bahia Airport (ICAO: SBSV). The I-TWR system includes advanced subsystems such as ALCMS (Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System), TCMS (Technical Control and Monitoring System), and ATIS/D-ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service).

The ACAMS I-TWR system represents a significant advancement in air traffic control technology and is already used at key airports and airbases across Brazil. This FAT for the new I-TWR system planned for Salvador Bahia Airport in Brazil, is another step in the implementation program of the Integrated Control Tower System (SITC) across Brazil.
